I saw a flock of avocets at Grand Falls Saturday Apr 20 (about 13 of them). I am a birder but this was the 1st time I had seen them. My daughter told me there were some posted on CMA and she was right. I live in Lake Montezuma but would like to see them at Gilbert preserve.
