Backyard Bamboo
Backyard bamboo- taken in my backyard after a storm. In the largest raindrop on the leaf furthest to the right you can see the reflection of the sky and a citrus tree. I think this image is unique because it's not something you would expect to see in the desert environment.

commented 11 months agoNope... I'm not a fan of tripods- too much of a pain to lug around. I definitely do NOT have steady hands. I have a terrible habit of twitching just as I click the shutter. I think everything I've submitted has been shot using the macro setting except for maybe 5 pics. Someday I'll figure out what I'm doing and maybe then I'll be able to shoot landscapes like you, Marcus, Russ, Bob Miller, Ron Chilston, Gina Dazzo.... and a whole bunch of other people I would love to list by name but if I did you would be here for days reading a novel and I'm behind on my homework!

commented 11 months agoAre you using a tripod or do you have very steady hands??? Your pictures are always so very clear and sharp!

commented 11 months agoSpence- thank you sir. This is one of my personal favorites. It was one of my first macro shots. Now I'm addicted and I feel like anything I shoot without using macro looks out of focus.
