Randy: Randy: Thanks much for your feedback. Honestly, this image required some heavy edits in Photoshop. The whole series of images from that sunny morning was overexposed, even with my use of a circular polarizer filter (a full strength) and heavy bracketing (five exposures of each scene) in the field. The edits involved darkening the overall image exposure, reduction of highlights and addition of some color saturation. So much for a perfect capture!

Wonderful capture, Marcus. I've kept a boat at Saguaro Lake since 1995, and have navigated those basins and canyons countless times over the years. But I've never hiked to see the lake from the top of the cliffs as in this shot. Needless to say, your image spoke to me at a personal level. Composition and colors are spot on. Anytime you need a boat model, let me know!
