Ok, so I just reread the guidelines for posting and notice that chances of publication are better if pixel dimension is at least 2000 on its longest side. What is an appropriate resolution at this size? I read that 300 should be good for most quality prints, but when I resize to 300, the dimension jumps into the 5000's. Then the image gets tall and skinny or short and wide. I realize that most of you must be rolling your eyes, but this amateur would appreciate some "professional" advice. For purposes of this site, is there a standard width and height in inches and a standard resolution I could use all the time? Thanks.
Angie, Google "DPI Vs PPI" and "Pixels per inch", Take a read through that info, perhaps it will help..
Thanks Alex; will do!
