Beautiful cloud formations reflecting off the waters of Marshal lake, just outside of Flagstaff.
Gorgeous spot near Sunset Crater. Actually shot from the O'Leary Peak lookout tower road.
The east Mitten framed by the buttes at North Window.
This was an amazing sunrise for sure. but in addition to that, it's an amazing display of the many layers and the incredible display of the effects of erosion over time. After processing this I sat and stared at the walls of the canyon. Just amazing.
Sublime for sure!
It's no wonder this spot on the North Rim is called Point Sublime. This is one of those times that I got lucky and got an incredible sky. This is sunrise looking east. "ALSO" I was very disappointed to hear that this site is shutting down. I want to say that viewing all of the participants photographs and reading the very thoughtful and educational comments has been rewarding in ways that words don't convey. Thank you all for the kind words and sharing so many outstanding photographs!!!! And thank you Arizona PBS for the tremendous experience!!! Great job!!!
Beautiful cloud formations somewhere near Coal Mine Canyon.
Looking into Monument Canyon, one of the offshoot canyons, to a working Navajo farm, from the Spider Rock Overlook. If you look closely there's a Navajo Hogan in the back of the photo.
My favorite Vertical
This is my favorite vertical from my recent trip to Navajo land. The rock formation makes for a terrific foreground for this iconic shot of Spider Rock.
Blue Hour Pano
Everybody shoots this so why not me. It was shot from the balcony of the View Hotel while waiting for my order of wings. This place (Monument Valley) never disappoints.
Late afternoon light casts a shadow from the iconic Spider Rock on the walls of Canyon de Chelly.
