Red Rocks of Sedona
A close-up shot of Courthouse Butte and all her amazing details.
The Bell Rock path in Sedona had some very dusty moments with the high winds we had on that day.

Grand Tetons of Arizona
San Francisco Peaks as seen from the Meteor Crater. Such a contrast from the flat desert floor to the sudden surge of this volcanic mountain. Is it any wonder that the original scientific explorer of the metro creator thought it was a volcano vent?
Cool and sunny....and very scenic! Who doesn't love taking the long way to Flagstaff on 89A?
Room With A View
These desert plants chose a great spot to grow. In between Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and other rock formations.
The vibrant sun shining over Meteor Crater could almost be mistaken for an incoming meteor making a repeat performance in the same spot.
Life and Death
Skeleton plants among living ones are a reminder of how fragile life is in an extreme environment such as the desert.
Courthouse Butte rising over the trees as seen from the Bell Rock Trail.
The beautiful view on the Waterfall Trail as you return from the falls area.
It must be hard for a bird to find a place to hide its' nest in the open desert. We happened to find this gal on her nest looking shocked that she was discovered!
Love all things photography. Enjoy viewing photos as well as taking them and learning new techniques for amazing images.
