Mitten - Monument Valley
It was a beautiful fall day in Monument Valley. The morning air was cool and crisp and it was a perfect day to enjoy this beautiful natural wonder.
Fall at Lockett Meadow
It was a beautiful fall day at Lockett Meadow. It was incredible to see the fall colors mixed with the snow on the San Francisco Peaks.
Lockett Meadow Reflection
Beautiful fall colors and snow capped mountains! This was the perfect day to see Lockett Meadow.
The drive up to Lockett Meadow from Flagstaff is a steep, narrow and rocky dirt trail. Some places are barely wide enough for two vehicles to pass. When you make it up to the top the views are worth your trouble. It was a beautiful fall day in the low 40's which is more than a bit chilly to visitor like myself from the Valley of the Sun.
Monument Valley Majesty
It was a beautiful fall day in Monument Valley. Temperatures in the low 50's, blue skies for days and plenty of wispy clouds.
The last flowers of the summer

Beauty and Pain
The Thistle just like many other beautiful things can cause great pain.
I love the contrast of the alluring beauty of thistle with the painful danger of the thorns.
