Hi there cutie
This was a baby Barrel Cactus beside the road, giving its best shot. Beautiful spiky goodness.
While desperately searching for a composition in Scottsdale, found this handsome fellow gazing out at all creation.
Escape From The Party
Clutching her wheat, she looks nervously back at the center of the Old Town nightlife.
What are you staring at?
SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR...
... Or maybe not. Head over the flickr group Catherine S. set up and keep this going. A few of us have already moved over there and are posting away. CMA might go away but this excellent community can keep going.
DISCLAIMER: I'm only posting this because I selfishly want to continue to be motivated by all you photo wizards out there. Yes, sad CMA is going away but there's no reason you all can't step sideways, just a bit, and continue inspiring the rest of us.
Many thanks to Capture My Arizona. I have not been a member that long but I have loved the beautiful pictures submitted by a highly diverse and exceptionally talented group of photographers.
Thanks to all of you who have upvoted, liked, and commented on my images. Your support has meant the world to me and encouraged me to keep going. I really hope you all will migrate over to the flickr side and continue to make this community special.
Not eaten by wolverines with ebola this morning
Though there WAS something staring at me with beady glowing eyes as I hiked to the photo spot. Spooky.
Still uneaten, I got the picture
More starryness out in the park. Sure looks different at O dark thirty.
Picketpost Mountain Stars
My first star shot. This is what happens when you lurk in the bushes out in the desert at o dark thirty when normal people are snoring away in bed.
This kind of photography is different from my usual landscape stuff. High ISO, lots of post processing, stacking like crazy. I find it intriguing.
There was this other guy shooting this location. He was a real photographer. I could tell that because he had two cameras. Each camera had a lens that had to be two feet long. I felt inadequate with my stubby little 80mm.
