There's gold in them thar hills!
Patches of golden poppies blanket the hills between Carefree and Bartlett Reservoir.
Almost Wildflower season!
With all this rain, should be a good one.
Tombstone Courthouse Christmas 2018
Holiday festivities at the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park. A nice change from the big city!
Fallen leaf underwater in Oak Creek and reflections of the leafless tress above.
Catching some sun
Eastern Collered Lizard Crotaphytus collaris. Unfortunately my long lens was in the car and when I came back he was gone.
My first trip here on a very hot and windy day. This log is sits on the edge of a cliff.
Sunset in the lava. Found these plants thriving in the lava fields near Flagstaff.
Your Blue Angels
Luke Days 2018. Nice air show, wish they would have had a B1-B demo!
Blue Angels at Luke Days 2018 breaking off to head downwind for landing.
I'm an amateur weekend warrior landscape photographer who discovered late in life how much I love getting out and finding a picture day or night. I prefer to escape the city and shoot natural scenes whenever I can find the time, which isn't often enough.
Art Wolfe has always been an inspiration to me and his PBS television program inspired me to get started in photography. A number of years ago amazing shots of the Milky Way began showing up on the internet which really kick started my interest in astrophotography and the purchase of my first higher end camera. Thanks for stopping by.
